If /cough, someone has an NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT, which clearly indicates on the box / interdweeb that it's DirectX 10 capable... and is running Windows Vista Home Basic, why are they given no option to update to DX10 (instead always being directed to download DX 9.whatever)?
