Age of Conan Dethrones GTA in European Countries

May 30, 2008 - Funcom's Age of Conan - Hyborian Adventures has debuted at the top of the sales charts in Germany and Sweden, beating out Rockstar's previously untouchable GTA IV. This bolsters the claim that the Funcom/Eidos published MMO, recently released in late May, is one of fastest selling MMOs to date. Age of Conan also debuted well in Spain; while it didn't beat GTA IV, it did garner a solid fourth place position in a otherwise Wii-dominated market. The list, according to next-gen.biz.
